Grandsons turtle quilt

Grandsons quilt top is done..now to blanket stitch everyone of of those little guys..ughh......then the backing, filler and hand stitch it all together.....ummm maybe i can get it done before christmas..lol! The little guy did see one of the turtle patches and quickly took it home with him claiming..my turtle...lol..I didn't have the heart to tell him i needed it for the quilt so i let him take it with him.I think he will be thrilled..ooooohhhh to be 2 again!........

 Better weather today so we brought some more small furniture in.Im pleased with how things look.Only time will tell if i will need a bigger space or another room.It feels so right to be back in a shop!Now to go rearrange my basement and garage and reclaim my space!

NEW ANTIQUE SHOP

My new adventure started today......The shop is called..ANTIQUE STATION, located at the foot of the ST. Georges bridge.Because of the rain we could only fill my car and not the truck so tomorrow we will cart the larger pieces of furniture down. More pictures to follow........

Check out the urns.....I wanted to plant these and place in front of my house but hubby thought they were to large and that even filled with rocks for weight...they wouldn't last long before they went M.I.A!.

Can you see the nice black and white picture with the girl and her cow? I want that......but "not for sale"....isnt that always the way?..lol.....

Another Estate Sale.
Now to get the stuff listed on etsy.......

I have come to the conclusion in life that the closing of one door dose not always have to be a bad thing.I left the antique mall i was at about 6 months ago.I started a store on etsy and have done very well with my sales and even better with meeting new people and contacts in other states looking for bulk deals.But i keep feeling like  there was something i was missing out on...so today  by  chance..I found a new antique mall to be a dealer in.Im very excited to say the least,but come October 1st i will be ready and waiting to start a new adventure.Who knows.....I might be able to get rid of enough stuff to  be able to get my car into the garage for the first time since we bought our house 10 years ago!

Sale was awesome today!......I cant understand how you can sell as much as we did and seem to have more to pack when we were done? I think it multiples??????? Beautiful sunny day..loads of customers...hot as can be.Till next year...........

I got 2 matching pie crust tables going to the sale on saturday.It was hard to let these go also!
